"I started working with Nadia after hearing how much she had supported a friend of mine with her baby’s sleep.

​

At the time, we were in a cycle of regular night wakings, co sleeping, bed sharing - you name it, we were doing it. I felt ruled by my son’s sleep (or lack of!) but was fearful of working with someone who might try and change some of the things that were really important to me, like feeding my baby to sleep.

​

Nadia couldn’t have been more supportive. She took the time to listen to me and my needs, but also time to understand my son and what methods might suit him and his personality. She was patient, kind, generous with her time, and extremely approachable. To know that she was there to support me and my partner gave us a huge sense of reassurance.

 

After 3 weeks, my son is now happily sleeping in his cot for the first time in 14 months. He has significantly reduced the number of times he wakes in the night, often only waking once. His daytime sleep is much improved and, crucially, we haven’t had to compromise on any of the things that were important to us. "When we started working with Nadia, we had a little girl who needed bouncing around/us being stood upright for hours on end in order to sleep. This coupled with hours upon hours of night time waking was starting to take its toll, not only on my physical and mental health, but also our day to day life.

 

We have finished this amazing journey with a little girl who is learning to go to sleep on her own in her cot, and is (generally) sleeping through the night!

"We decided to work with Nadia as our son was approaching 12 months and still waking around 3 or 4 times per night. He was also sleeping in our bed for the majority of the night which had been a good way of everyone getting some sleep initially but as he got bigger and more wiggly - no one was getting a good nights sleep. He would not nap in his cot during the day either which also made nap times tricky.

 

I had been hesitant to use any sort of ‘sleep training’ methods but after speaking at length with Nadia, she proposed a plan that felt right and we were comfortable with sticking to. After 3 weeks on the plan our son is now consistently sleeping through the night (10.5 hours) with no wake ups. He also goes down in his cot during the day for his naps. This has honestly been life changing for our family, with all of us feeling more rested and we finally have our evenings back! “I first met Nadia through her baby signing classes - our twins absolutely adored her and I loved how calm and down to earth she was about everything motherhood! 

 

When our twins were around 9 months old, our sleep was so disrupted and we were on our knees exhausted. Every night would involve re-settling continuously, milk feeds throughout the early hours and bed sharing just so we could get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep. I think it's also really important to state that the lack of sleep was grinding us both down so much that we were definitely taking it out on each other.

​

We had our first video consultation online which was super easy. Just within that initial consultation Nadia shared a wealth of information with us. We also shared with Nadia that our twins share a double floor bed - so many people would encourage us to change this and suggest we get the twins sleeping separately again, but Nadia just accepted it completely and worked with it. It never seemed like a stumbling block whatsoever. 

 

As promised, we got sent a few forms to fill in online - it even just blew me away that Nadia focused on both of them separately throughout the whole process, understanding that their needs and personalities are completely different. 

 

Nadia created a sleep plan for us to follow for 2 weeks in the first instance. We chose when to start and how quickly we progressed through it. It was completely up to us as and when we moved from one thing to the next. We never felt rushed or judged about any of our decisions. It was also amazing how adaptable and flexible Nadia's approach was - this enabled us to settle into a new routine so quickly and we saw results literally within the first 3 days. Throughout our two weeks of support Nadia was available through email/phone and was so, so supportive throughout. 

 

The last 6 months have been completely different for our family. We have a solid routine, we know how to adjust timings, we no longer stress about how much nap time they've had or when they last napped. Working with Nadia has enabled us to see the very basics that support a baby's sleep - and thanks to that we now have one twin who sleeps through the night (6.30pm latest to 6am earliest) and the other twin who usually needs just one re settle at some point (that's still usually giving us a solid night's sleep!). 

 

Making contact with Nadia was the best thing we did - our only regret is not doing it sooner! Worth every single penny. Thank you Nadia, you've been amazing for our family!" Chloe & Caley, Mums to 9 month old twins.

"Working with Nadia has been an absolute game changer! We went from a 3 hour nighttime battle to our daughter falling asleep in around 30 minutes and this only took a week. Nadia was so supportive every step of the way, answering all of our questions and providing us with useful hints and tips to use when needed. She helped us to adjust and adapt the sleep plan too so that it suited our daughter’s needs and ensured we got the most out of the process. She listened to what we all wanted/needed and there was no crying involved from anyone which was such a huge relief. My only regret is that we didn’t go to Nadia sooner." Danii, West Midlands. "First and foremost we want to thank Nadia so much for all the help she has provided us with. Nadia’s methods are gentle and structured and we’ll admit, we were dubious at first! However, with Nadia’s knowledge and reassurance, it gave us the confidence to believe her personally tailored programmes for both of our children would work and to really give it a go, and we really can’t thank her enough.

At the time of starting our journey to better sleep our daughter was 35 months old and our son was 11 months. Firstly my daughter has pretty much never slept since the day she was born - and I am really not exaggerating! She would only fall asleep if we lay in bed with her. Some nights this would be 10 minutes others an hour. When she woke up and realised we weren’t there she would come looking for us and would refuse to go back to sleep until we lay next to her and the pattern continued. My son has also never slept through the night, he had a strong association with feeding to sleep and wanted the comfort of my breast whilst asleep. Trying to put him down once he fell asleep was pot luck as to whether he then woke or not. This eventually led to co sleeping and then him not wanting to be in his own bedroom. On average he would wake up at least 4 times a night. 

​

I was truly a mother in need, who hadn’t had a full nights sleep in 35 months.  Within 5 nights of Nadia’s programme both of our children slept through the night!! It honestly felt like a dream had come true. I was really wary and anxious of starting the programme with my son due to his strong feeding to sleep association and how he would cope moving away from having my breast for comfort. On night one he settled himself to sleep in only 24 minutes, which I just never thought would be possible. This progressed throughout the programme. My daughter seemed to just get it, with the new exciting bedtime routine put in place and the reassurance given to her because of the programme, the progress made we just couldn’t believe.

 

Most importantly we have two happier toddlers who wake up feeling re energised and ready for the day and of course two happier and less tired parents!! If in any doubt of whether to get Nadia’s help or not I’d say do not hesitate to get in contact with her and just do it. We did it with her help with not one but two children at the same time. Their programmes were individually tailored and we moved to their next phases when they were individually ready. "We started working with Nadia when our little son, 14 months, was waking up 2-3 times per night for milk and most of the time joining us in bed afterwards. Getting him to nap or fall asleep in his own bed at night, seemed merely luck and so the lack of sleep started to catch up with all of us.

​

After bringing Nadia into our lives and only one week, Teddy napped about 2 hours each day in his bed without fail, had no issues falling asleep and also woke up only 1-2 times per night. After two weeks the wake up times reduced to once per night or none at all and Teddy went back to sleep in his bed without any big complaints in the nights.

​

Nadia’s sleep plan and gentle techniques have made such a difference in our lives and we will miss working with Nadia, as she is such an amazing person and we have learned so much from her. " Who knew the length and quality of a 7 month old’s naps could be such an influence on their night sleep? Until Nadia’s guidance I had just let my little one sleep and wake when he wanted, under the understanding that babies sleep when they’re tired…Then she explained to me the importance of napping is just as important as sleeping.

My 7 month old would nap 3 times a day but only for 20-30minutes, I accepted this in hope of him being so tired that he would then sleep through the night. He was waking continuously, hourly, being restless and needing physical comfort.

Since speaking to Nadia and having her support we have managed to master self settling rather than spending our evenings (and night time wake ups) cuddling and rocking him to sleep, Nadia introduced us to her calm and soothing ways and thankfully we were never told to just let him cry. We now have a more strict nap routine, the quality of his naps have meant that we are finally getting a much better nights sleep. "My son’s sleep has always been quite up and down and he finally first slept through the night at 10 months old when we introduced a very strict routine. This worked for us for 6 months until he hit the 18 month sleep regression after dropping down to one nap a day. Then the night wakes started again, early mornings and putting him down became a real struggle. Where as before we could just pop him down and walk out we were now laying in his cot with him for hours! 

​

As we were still following a strict routine I couldn’t really see how Nadia would be able to help but with a couple small tweaks and introducing a really subtle settling method we were back to being able to put him in his cot and leave the room swiftly! 

Within a couple of nights the night wakes disappeared and the morning wake up time gradually got later and after just one week we are back to our 6:30-6:30 routine! 

 

Not only are we feeling much happier as parents but we can see it in our son too! He now runs to his cot and tries to climb in himself! I can’t thank Nadia enough for helping us to take control and get our sleep back." Alice, South East. Mum to 18 month old.

"We approached Nadia, when our son was 16 months old. He had never slept for longer than 4 continuous hours and most nights he was waking up every 1-2 hours and always had false starts 30 minutes after bedtime. At bedtime he heavily relied on being breastfed to sleep and had never fallen asleep unaided, always rocked or fed to sleep. 

​

Our goal was to get him to bed without being breastfed to sleep, so dad can take some of the nighttime responsibilities and also to reach a point where he woke less often overnight. 

​

We had reached breaking point with disturbed sleep, all of our family was affected (including the dog!) but with Nadia’s help we were able to tweak our routine with very gentle methods to help us reach our goal. The methods shown to us have always been gentle and responsive, which has been our number 1 priority throughout.

Nadia has been so supportive, helping us get through the process at our own pace and with her guidance he is now consistently going to bed unaided, and the false starts have disappeared. He has shown he can sleep for much longer stretches now. We have the tools to continue on our sleep journey with our son and we are all on the road to much better sleep." Ellie, West Midlands.
